Though it is after many days that i'm penning for another article, i feel as if i'm writing an article everyday. I think for a good article, a good topic to write on everday and end up in procrastinating the task as i feel either it may not be the correct topic or that i'm not prepared for writing one. Without making any further delays, here we have another article to enthuse on.
Before proceeding ahead, here is the description that i can give for the picture i selected for this article : " The deer is determined enough to cross the sea eventhough it is miles far away. He knows that he will get drown in the sea if he donot maintain the speed, the lightness of his body, the swing with which he moves around. With crystal clear concentration and hard rock like perseverance he is crossing the sea and reaching his destiny. He takes pleasure in doing that and this is a great inspiration to believe that 'If the destiny is clear, then the path will be as clear as that. With proper inputs, we can achieve anything in this world'.
For the last two weeks, there are many news stories around the much talked topic of capital account convertibility, in other words about the full convertibility of rupee. I would like to put down what i understood on this topic. Worldwide, there are only a few currencies like dollar, euro, yen and so that has the full convertibility. What does that mean to us is ... in those countries where this is implemented, we can purchase goods in any currency which is strong/ which gives us a bit of profit. On a macro economic level, this step may have many implications and in our economy effecting the home grown business through imports and exports, the banks and the financial institutions. Some argue this has to be done to open up our indian market to every one in the world, and some refute to this by showing the headblocks that we may come across. The IT industry which gets most of its revenue by servicing the US clients, can have an impact in their balance sheets based on the rupee dollar conversion value. If the rupee is strong, then the profit will decrease and vice versa. No idea has formed in my mind whether full capital account convertibility should be opted for or not !!
The other day, we started for nandi hills early in the morning at 4 AM to see the picturisque sunrise. It is at 60Km odd distance away from bangalore and we enjoyed the journey on two bikes, savouring the morning fresh air. The curves of the road are so enticing that you love to drive the bike. As we climb the hill,we feel that we are in the lap of the nature. By the time we are on top of hill, the only task that is left before us is to explore it till we are tired. After digging deep in looking at all the places there, we are back on our return journey by 11AM and have had a great lunch at bangalore. It is a great break on a weekend !! dont miss the chance to go to nandi hills, if you are given one !!
Adieu for now !! Meet you all in another post.
