Scorching heat...

After enjoying the winter days... i never thought i will be facing the good old summer again so soon. And dont know how it will be in the coming months. If its only an anomoly, then no need to worry, if not then we need to alarm all those responsible for this to happening.

Well today, i come across an oppurtunity to know more about wealth management. It will be good for many, if i can put down some simple fundas that goes into this.
Wealth management is an holistic approach in managing the money for the high net worth individuals. This is not an easy business, as lot of research goes into this for managing. At the same time it has its own significance, as it boosts the economy, provides cash flow for companies, and not to forget the employment it generates. There are many wealth management products which suit the individual in all three categories of low, high and ultra net worth individuals. And the pareto principle of 80/20 too follows here that the 20% of money is rested in the hands of 20% of people, whom we can classify as high net worth individuals. Going in detail about these products is out of scope for the post, though i will come with one in coming days.

Rather than being an aggresive or a passive person, being an ASSERTIVE person pays you a lot

Out of all the good thoughts that i had today, assertiveness is the one on which i would like to talk for a while. In my perception, being assertive means not to be bulled down by others opinion and not to be accepting everything whatever other person says, but having your own opinion, stating it confidently while protecting one's self respect, at the same time having respect for other's opinion.
In many projects, there will be situations where you need to state your ideas, voice your opinions confidently, there being assertive is of utmost helpful. Initially, people may hurt in understanding it, but later on you will be respected for the honesty and the sincerity that you would have displayed.

As we move on to other topic, there are a few persons who are preparing for GMAT at my office and we will be forming a group for helping each other. My preparation on the securities and the derivatives module are going well, and i will be posting a good article on those topics in the coming days. And I will be travelling to hyderabad on march 3rd for giving the test at NSE, hyderabad.

Colourful...

Life is colourful...and is there anyone to object that. Yes, there are some people who says NO... and for them life is a burden. From there perspective, there are so many sad things to worry about, undergoing through hard times and when they are true, people who believe till then life is beautiful may change and may say "Life is hard". At the same time, many say 'Life is beautiful or hard depends on how you look at it' and it boils down to the attitude. Yes, having the right attitude (ha ha.. there is nothing like right attitude, an attitude which fits into the situation well becomes a right attitutde) is an ornament which makes us look beautiful, inturn making our lives beautiful.

After all this, my week started with the right attitude. And now,i'm very much clear on what i need to do and what i should not do. On monday, i talked to many of my friends, which helped me a lot in correcting my priorities. Having a good friend like potti, saku and others helps you alot when your morale is down.

From monday onwards, i have less work to do in the office. And i'm passing my time in browsing the local intranet. On tuesday, i come to know that i have got a call for interview from IMT Ghaziabad college. And till now, i have not yet decided what i should do, as it is an unexpected one.

Its sad that i couldnt keep my promise for the first time itself. Though, i feel i'm new to blogging i have to make it a hobby to blog everyday. Though, i failed this time, i should not feel dissappointed as blogging is not an end and its a journey. And i'm here to blog. Lets go(alto).

Be patient till you see the end of the tunnel, as there is fair amount of chance that you loose hopes at the very end....

These are the words, which are driving me these days. After seeing another failure in my endeavour to pursue MBA from good institutes in India, i'm feeling strongly to get into top MBA universities and see my life moving on the lines that are defined by me. I completely believe in GOD and these lines have written by Him long back, and i'll be realising them again. All this struggle of mine is to realise my destiny which is already decided(is what i feel).

This week is a different one, as i'm preparing for a certification test in two modules- one, securities basic module and two, derivatives dealer's module, conducted by NSE, and the program name is NCFM. Two weeks still for preparation, and i'm concentrating on it, to give my best. And that is an other oppurtunity to boost my morale, by scoring the best i can.

The work in the office is going as usual. And i'm trying to keep my interest in technical stuff, though reciprocatingly i'm loosing interest in it. And yesterday, i played tennis after a long gap. And i really enjoyed it.

See the end of the tunnel though after turmoil...

Hi,
It has been long time, indeed very long time that i added another post to my blog. And now, i've taken a strong resolution to blog every alternate day, if not every day. I guess, i will be keeping my word. And i know, we are there to check whether i keep my word or not.

In my next few blogs, i will speak, talk, inform you all about myself. It will serve as an introduction to me for those who visit my blog.
